Holy Grail found in Bristol!

Now the Grail has been found, what of Monty Python's Spamalot?

A spokesperson for the show said: 'The Bristol Hippodrome have consulted with the producers of the show and despite the fact that now the famous Grail has been discovered the show will continue. All singing, dancing and joke telling will continue as scheduled'

The Grail was discovered sitting by some bins outside a fast food restaurant on Bristol's St Augustines Parade. How long it had been sitting no one is sure. It was discovered by some local peasants as they wandered home from a local hostelry late on Saturday evening. One man was seen kicking a can down the road only to stub his toe on the shining chalice. As the heavenly music boomed and the light beamed down through the parted clouds, it was clear to the locals that this was indeed the missing Grail.

King Arthur of Camelot had been seeking this very Grail for some years and he and his merry band including some well known celebrities (Guinevere, Sir Lancelot, Sir Dennis Galahad and Sir Robin among others) were reported to be thrilled with the news only to feel strangely deflated soon after as they realized a life’s Quest was now over. They had been wandering across France and mincing to and fro to Camelot for some time facing constant danger in the form of the Knights who say Ni, Killer rabbits, Mrs Galahad (Dennis’s mum), Tim the Enchanter and some very rude French soldiers.
Local Police said 'It’s a remarkable find after all this time. We Bristolians are very, very proud. A note has been sent to The Vatican and other religious leaders informing them of the news.'
